The changes to Husky's two-stroke jungle impactor in 2022 are mainly focused on the new suspension adjustments in the WP XPLOR front fork and XACT rear shock absorber and the new Braktec hydraulic clutch and brake hardware. The existing Husky brake and clutch settings are great, so it will be interesting to see if these changes improve them further. The new GSK wave disc rotor is another change.

Suspension changes include a new oil bypass system in the 48mm outer fork tube, and the hardness of the shock-absorbing seal is now reduced, which Husky claims improves feedback and damping consistency. The front fork has 30 adjusters, the left leg is compressed, and the right leg rebounds. The rear linkage setting is the same as that used in the Husky TC/FC cross-country motorcycle series.

The CNC-machined triple fixture is anodized black, the front fork can be positioned at an offset of 22 mm, and the rod can be adjusted.

Traction control is switched on or off by the switch, and it works by analyzing the throttle input from the rider and the rate of increase in engine RPM. If the RPM increases too quickly, the engine management system (EMS) will record the loss of grip and reduce the power of the rear wheels to maintain maximum traction. In addition, all two strokes are equipped with a standard map switch, allowing you to choose between two ignition curves based on conditions or rider preference.

The EMS has an electronic control unit (ECU) on two strokes, which is responsible for many functions. This unit determines the ignition timing and fuel and oil injection quantities. It also receives information from the throttle position sensor, ambient air and intake pressure sensors, and crankcase pressure and water temperature sensors to adjust values and correct automatic temperature and altitude compensation. Before fuel injection, this means changing the carburetor nozzle.

The two-stroke uses a 39mm throttle body that regulates the amount of air entering the engine through a butterfly operated by a double throttle cable connected to the handlebar throttle assembly. Unlike the four-stroke throttle body, fuel is not introduced at this time, but two-stroke oil is mixed with the air entering the engine to lubricate the crankshaft, cylinders and pistons. In addition, the throttle position sensor (TPS) transmits airflow data to the ECU, and the ECU calculates the amount of oil and fuel delivered to the engine. At the same time, the bypass screw adjusts the idle speed, and the cold start device opens the air bypass for cold start.

The two-stroke explorer adopts an innovative 3D design process specifically tailored for each model, with advanced geometry and performance. The TE 250i/300i main pipe provides greater ground clearance to make it less susceptible to damage, while the corrugated surface makes the main pipe more durable to resist rock damage and other hazards found on the Enduro trail. The two-stroke muffler also has an aluminum mounting bracket and an advanced internal structure, which can achieve excellent noise reduction and weight reduction.

All TE models are marked with power distribution start. The system uses a compact and lightweight lithium-ion battery, which is 1 kg lighter than traditional batteries. In addition, the wiring harness concentrates all required electrical components in a common area under the seat for easy access.

The radiators are made of high-strength aluminum and are designed using CFD (computational fluid dynamics) to more effectively guide air through them. The cooling system is intelligently integrated with the frame without additional hoses. The large central tube running through the frame reduces the pressure at this time, thereby achieving consistent coolant flow.

Although the four-stroke has a radiator fan as standard, this is an optional add-on for the two-stroke.

An 8.5-liter polyethylene fuel tank contains a quick-release fuel filler cap and an integrated fuel pump.

The air box is designed with a precisely positioned intake pipe designed to prevent air deformation to ensure maximum airflow and filter protection. No tools are required, and the air filter can be easily accessed by removing the left side panel. The dual air filter and filter cage design ensures easy maintenance. The design has a simple fail-safe installation system to ensure safe and accurate installation of the filter.

DID black high-strength alloy rims with laser-engraved logos are connected to CNC machined wheels using lightweight spokes and silver anodized aluminum threads. The nipple adopts advanced design, which reduces the frequency of spoke inspection and maintenance.

The sturdy gray and electric yellow graphics look fresh, while the ergonomics have been tailored to provide comfort and control.
